How do the Health Scores work?
The Health Scores are designed to provide an easy-to-understand, scientifically backed, and deeply personal insight into various aspects of your health. Here's how they work:
- Data Input: We aggregate and analyze data from your phone or wearable device. This includes information on your activity levels, sleep patterns, and other relevant health metrics.
- Segmentation by Health Aspect: The collected data is segmented into different health aspects such as activity, sleep, mental wellbeing, and readiness. Each aspect is assessed using specific biomarkers to produce individualized Health Scores.
- Explainability via Factors: Each Health Score is composed of multiple Factors, which are the inputs that make up the score. Both the overall score and each factor are rated out of 100. For added transparency, each factor also has an associated value. For example, the Active Hours factor in the Activity Score might show that you've been active for 5 hours in a day, with a factor score of 70%.
- Designed to Work Without a Wearable: Most factors in a score can be calculated without the need for a wearable device. This means you can still check in on your Health Scores even if you don't have a wearable or forgot to wear it.
- Health States: Health States help you gauge what the scores mean for you by categorizing factors as minimal, low, medium, or high. Sometimes, an activity score of "medium" is great and doesn't need to be in the "optimal" state if that is more realistic and conducive to your lifestyle.
